HN comment orderWell...I did it...somehow...I did... 00:06:57 That seems too fast...apparently i've experienced these things far too much. It actually was filling me with rage. I came close to saying fuck it...I really did... Well done to the creators...you managed to, with 100% accuracy, capture every single thing that's horrible about signing up to websites. That bow thing though...gotta admit, was worth it just for the chuckle I got as I realized...
We should make a website that does everything in the opposite way: 1) Require adblock 2) Banner saying the website doesn't use cookies, which goes away if you mouseover 3) If you're on mobile, show a banner saying the website doesn't have an app 4) A signup form, but when you try to focus it, it turns into a banner saying "jk this website doesn't have signup"
Often thought about designing a print magazine with the same values as a web publication: * Agree to all sorts of scary things to take off the plastic wrapping * Peel off multiple big stickers on every page * Big heavy adverts that overlap the content and weigh pages down * Built-in Tile/Airtag to track location * Chumboxes for other magazines at the bottom of each article ...etc
