I use TST extensively to manage hundreds of tabs, and it is a real joy. FWIW, these are the customizations that made TST much more usable for me: 1) Very importantly, hide the horizontal tab bar. You get some vertical screen space back, and you aren't distracted by two ways of showing the same tabs. You'll have to edit your userChrome.css (see e.g. http://kb.mozillazine.org/index.php?title=UserChrome.css&pri... for details on how to find it), and add something like this: /* Hide tab bar…

This is awesome; Tree Tabs is one of my two essential extensions, the other being Vimperator. I'm sticking with the Firefox ESR that supports Vimperator until Vimperator is ported (or re-written) for WebExtensions. Unfortunately, Vimperator is struggling to find contributors to help with the migration. The other vim-themed extensions out there like Vimuim on Chrome or Saka Key just don't come close :( [edit: added Saka Key]

This extension lists your tabs in an additional vertical bar and displays tabs opened from another tab arranged as tree branches that can be folded away. You can also rearrange the tree at will. This always brings be back to Firefox after trying other browsers. I don't understand how tab trees aren't a default feature in all browsers.
