Snapcast is awesome, especially when bundled together with Iris and Mopidy [1], which includes the links to Youtube, Soundcloud, Funkwhale, podcasts, streams (etc). I wrote a blog post on how to build a small Raspi Zero Image for Snapcast [2] that directly connects to the Snapserver included in (e.g.) the Iris Docker [3].
