Initially I was amazed by MPTCP and wondered why it had so little adoption. As I looked into the papers I slowly figured out why. This project is truly an outstanding bit of open-source software. I'm using it to bond two VDSL2 connections together; both sync at 79mbps and via OpenMPTCPRouter and a £3/mo VPS I get 140mbps download speeds.
