HN comment orderJavascript came a long way and despite its legacy quirks is actually quite enjoyable with ES6. I can't believe all the negative comments here. Someone has implemented Python in JavaScript. I personally think that is incredible.
My only issue with Python being used for client-side web programing is that significant newlines/whitespace would be an incredible pain if you're inling things in HTML. Although you would pretty much be forced to use GZip rather than just minification, which is good-ish. Plus, loading a 900KB file to run the Python client-side is probably a terrible idea when you could either transpile to JS or asm.js or (in the future) WebAssembly.
The syntax is really interesting, although the website is a bit confusing to navigate. Can in be transpiled to JavaScript beforehand, or is it meant to be used in an on the fly transpiler? I'm thinking in terms of minifying the source.
