HN comment orderIf you're looking for a UI font that's non-specific to your design (ie. you're not designing a poster) then I recommend the following: font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif, "Apple Color Emoji", "Segoe UI Emoji", "Segoe UI Symbol"; Everything else is less user friendly. This loads instantly, looks perfect on the user's screen, and is guaranteed to look exactly as it's supposed to.
Designer here: Inter is my go-to font - a free (and incredibly made!) cross between Helvetica and SF Pro! This is the latest major update to the Inter font. From the designer’s tweet: “After two years of work on a new version of Inter, I'm so proud that it's finally released. (It's been in beta for the past year) The changes are vast. With a major v4.0 release, Inter has never looked better. I particularly like the Display variant which looks lovely for headings and hero sections.
