I was a long time Postman user, but find myself using Insomnia more and more in recent months. Nothing wrong with Postman at all, but I just like Insomnia's cleaner and less cluttered UI. https://restfox.dev/ is a great open source, free alternative. You can self host it, import Insomnia project files, etc.
Seems like this version hides or deletes your queries with a push to some cloud login. I'll be looking for an alternative if this is the direction Insomnia is headed. https://github.com/Kong/insomnia/issues/6585
