Cinder is fantastic. I spent the start of last year fixing an old iPad app that was built with it called Planetary. It’s free on the App Store if anyone is interested. By pure chance I ended up getting in touch with the original developers and a couple of museum curators from Cooper Hewitt who helped acquire the original code as digital art work. https://sebchan.substack.com/p/48-on-planetary-in-2020-curat... It’s been a lot of fun!

There's also openFrameworks: http://www.openframeworks.cc Some major differences: - Cinder is more "C++y", i.e. more use of templates, boost, etc... openFrameworks opts for more "C with classes" approach, which makes it resemble processing a bit more. - Cinder uses system libs, openFrameworks tends to use third party libs that it wraps into its own API. This puts Cinder closer to the OS on windows/mac, but means that oF has linux support. From personal view, it seems like more agencies use Cinder…

Looks nice- more cross platform batteries for C++. I'm sort of sad they don't support Linux though.
