HN comment orderSomething like this should be default in MacOS. I use blackhole daily in my audio production and sound design practices. If you use a modern audio interface you might have a loopback available there.
Last year I tried this driver (and Soundflower, and a bunch of other similar stuff) because I needed to transmit my system audio + microphone via Skype (online music classes thanks to COVID). I couldn't get it to work properly for my setup, where I wanted to listen just the system audio through my headphones but route system + microphone to Skype. I haven’t tried this yet, but I’m excited to see it! I used to use SoundFlower to route audio between applications, but it was not working when I last tried it a year or so ago. This looks like A 1:1 replacement.
