Rather than to rehash an 2018 debate about a particular editor social media posts is in conflict with their edits on Wikipedia, where did the discussing end up afterward? I think the answer is in an Arbitration a month or so after this article was written (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests...). I did not find any more Arbitration Requests after this date, and the topic ban has not been appealed.
