Reasons not to use (i.e., be used by) Facebook

If someone can't state their point without warping the very language they use to support their point, it makes it very hard to feel like anything they're saying is credible. I honestly don't understand why people value Stallman's opinions on these matters so highly. I completely disagree with him on essentially everything he writes about these topics. The biggest reason I can see now based on current rhetoric, is that it's a trap. Once in, you can't get out, even if you want to. That doesn't even factor privacy or advertising or whatever, it's purely that you are attached to a specific corporation just to maintain relationships.
