One of those "once you see it" articles. It's a good example of art imitating art. On screen depictions of ER doctors zapping patients back to life with a defibrillator. Adrenaline shots to the heart. Gently putting bad guys to sleep with a concussive blow to the head. Artists' dramatic depictions become cliche, and cliche becomes our norm. Good to stop and ponder, on occasion, how much of our worldview is shaped by such fallacies.

I love this, it's got that "technical correctness is the best correctness" vibe going on big-time, and it will probably change the way I see that slice of the world. Butterflies loom weirdly large in my life, at one point many years ago my grandmother decided that butterflies were my wife's "thing" (they aren't, we're not sure how this happened), and so for many years we got butterfly-themed gifts from her. In Studio C's Hunger Games parody video, "Gale's Song" the protagonist is pictured gently touching monarch butterflies that alight nearby. In the BTS video, it's explained that you can go purchase live butterflies online, and they arrive well-chilled, so they are nearly immobile. Then they have time to warm up, pump wings a few times, and -- flutter away!
