HN comment orderWhat's new about this is that Apple is FINALLY listening to its power iPad users! Apple introduced a Files app that essentially works like the Finder app on Mac. Moreover it even allows you to sync with third party cloud providers besides just iCloud. Lastly, it's putting in an actual dock, multiple window layouts, easy copy paste. I am surprised that many of the comments so far are the equivalent of "No wireless. Less space than a nomad. Lame." I'm excited at the very distinct deviation this is taking from the keyboard/mouse/monitor paradigm in something other than a strictly portable device. I think the OS looks pretty damn good and I can't wait to try using one myself.
Despite the short term confusion of the name change (Not "iPad 3" just "iPad") it does make sense. Afterall you have iPod Touch, Macbook, Mac Mini, etc. Better than eventually having iPad 7, etc. Wouldn't be surprised to see the iPhone 5 just be called the iPhone.
