A very popular analog computer patchable with 4mm banana jacks was the Comdyna GP-6. I went down a rabbit hole of reverse engineering it from photos and schematics years ago in order to build a version that would fit in a 3U panel for Eurorack modular synth interfacing. I use the MakeNoise Maths module on my synth to experiment with similar ideas, as I think the next leaps in scaling quantum computing are going to come from a generation of kids who developed a musical level intuition for wave dynamics playing with their parents' analog synths. In my upper-division analog electronics class (the hard one), our lab project throughout the quarter was to build an analog computer that simulated the physics of a bouncing ball. Physical variables of the system were adjustable (gravity constant, coefficient of restitution, etc), and the ball was "released" by pressing a button. The output was viewed on an oscilloscope.
