These people march into every JavaScript discussion, carrying the same cross on their back since the first day Netscape supported AJAX. They lament what a travesty the internet has become thanks to this mongrel language which broke the purity of HTML. What really gets me is this kind of Good Samaritan plea to developers to just “do the right thing” as if every line of JavaScript was paid in orphan tears and puppy blood. I'm sorry but you have to draw a line somewhere. Unless you are a massive corporation there simply isn't the manpower available at most places to accomplish a JS and non-JS version of your site/app. I'll admit I'm coming at this 100% from the webapp angle. No project manager is going to sign off on that work NOR SHOULD THEY in 99% of cases.
Realistic answer to all of those would probably be: "... then this user won't be able to load ads, so I don't care about them anyway"
