Author here. Seeing all of the positive comments about my book is really warming my heart. I appreciate everyone and I'm glad so many people have enjoyed the book. I put a ton of time and love into it and it's gratifying to see it had the effect I'd hoped for.
A fantastic book covering similar things that you can read right now is https://pragprog.com/book/tpdsl/language-implementation-patt.... It's the book that got me into interpreters and compilers, I highly recommend it. It's slightly less in depth than the roadmap of "Crafting Interpreters", but again, it exists right now.
