One of my best friends in college was in the same position as the guy at the start of this comic: he was paying for his own college so he had to work for a year (restaurant jobs) to pay for each semester of college. When I met him I was sitting in a diner bummed that I hadn't met any futurists at the college I just started, and I was amazed to suddenly find myself having a deep conversation…
I'm simultaneously amazed by how good this is, and by my uncertainty as to whether I've read it before. I guess I'd better get used to that feeling as I age - but on the other hand, I can look forward to watching all those great movies again for the first time.* * some comedian must have already made this observation, but I can't remember.
This is a great comic. I just wish he had preserved the old format which was deep-linkable instead of switching to a "pretty" javascript interface.
