HN comment orderWhile i nether have the room nor the time to do this, i love the idea. I also love the "Why" section of the website, so simply yet so mighty.
Despite loving such projects, sometimes I have a feeling that concentration on recycling shifts attention too much from the real causes of waste pollution, such as overproduction, overconsumption and lack of investment in biodegradable materials.
I urge you to stop believing in recycling. Here's some things to think about: The "packaging" industry, is in fact a nice way of saying the "garbage manufacturing" industry. At least in Australia, the "recycling industry" is owned by the "packaging industry". Hmmm.. why is that?
