The examples here are hilarious. > Angels & Airwaves: Forty-six reverts in one hour by two editors. The point of contention? Whether "Angels & Airwaves" is a band or "Angels & Airwaves" are a band. (British English requires "are", as the band comprises multiple people, while American English requires "is", as the band is a singular entity.) ALL-CAPS edit summaries laced with profanity and death threats liberally employed by one side.

Wikipedia is massively raging in edit wars. Before 2014's Russian aggression towards Ukraine, several Crimea-related pages pointed out (with citations) that Crimea tried to split from Ukraine twice already during soviet times, but this whole narrative was steadily rewritten after 2014. Considering how many people rely on Wikipedia to get "facts", this has always struck me at how much history rewriting can happen and how much can it influence the world we live in. I really love the fact that C# is mentioned. :D Highly interesting, how people do not see the forest for the trees and get lost in details to somewhat proof their point and digress even more. Dogmatism only get you so far. On the other hand, it is tough to be inclusive and do justice to everyone. Good intentions are not always appreciated.
