HN comment orderI find these hands-on examples of hypergraphs quite informative [0][1]. The first one for intuiting some mathematical foundations and the second one for encoding a 'time' dimension in a flat plane (althought not strictly speaking a hyper graph). Neat, I did research in this area over a decade ago for the same customer as the people in the article. It is a really interesting area of theoretical computer science and we know more about it than the article conveys.
