HN comment orderSome people seem to think that the MacBook is only for developers and Apple is obliged to listen to only their feedback. News flash: world doesn't revolve around hacker news. Let's be honest for a moment. Apple has never in the history been the one to wait for market to adapt to some new technology. They have been the one who immediately puts it on their products and gets rid of the old standards. Everybody has known this for years…
The title here is misleading (there's no 2022 in the linked page). The joke is that this was released in 2016 when the new MBP with the touch bar came out, and was reviewing the _previous_ version as an improvement over the new one. I feel like people are missing the joke here for lots of reasons, but the addition of 2022 to the title here contributes.
I so dearly wish that someone high-ranking at Apple reads this and takes it to their heart. And acts upon it.
